About the name 'Siftah'
Lots of people ask me where the name "Siftah" came from, this should clear it up: Wiki Article on Shakermaker by Oasis. Although the Sifter in the song is spelt different, I didn't know that back in 1994 when I started using it as a nick on IRC, hence the "Siftah" spelling - to add more confusion to the spelling my bike has the reg plate S1FTA as unfortunately S1FTAH isn't a valid UK Reg-plate.
Coincidentally, Siftah is also a Turkish word which refers to the first person to do business with you on a given day. This person is said to be your Siftah and to bring good luck to you throughout the day. I like the concept, so it's now got dual meaning.

Fake SanDisk Memory Cards on eBay
I was recently scammed by a dodgy eBay seller by the name of ugoole with a fake 2gig MiniSD SanDisk memory card. Not well amused at all so I stuck up a page detailing the card and my experience, read how to spot a fake card here.

RFC1855
One of the few things that really winds me up is poor quoting and post trimming, especially on mailing lists inhabited by supposedly tech-savvy people. Most people don't even know that this rfc exists!
